BIRLA INDUSTRIAL & TECHNOLOGICAL MUSEUM, a unit under National Council of Science Museums, the parent body of all the science Centres / Museums in India.
Engagement

1. As a regular affair, this Museum and its seven satellite units in West Bengal, Bihar and Odisha engage Trainee Education (Pure Science/Life Science) for a maximum period of two years on consolidated stipend. These Trainees are required for science demonstration to the visitors and other educational activities.  Conducting of Mobile Science Exhibition in rural areas, as and when required, is part and parcel of the Traineeship.

2. CONTRACTUAL ENGAGEMENT OF JUNIOR MENTORS FOR THE INNOVATION HUB OF BIRLA INDUSTRIAL & TECHNOLOGICAL MUSEUM (BITM), KOLKATA/ SHRIKRISHNA SCIENCE CENTRE, PATNA / REGIONAL SCIENCE CENTRE, BHUBANESWAR

To promote creativity and inspire young students to make innovations, thereby spreading a culture of innovation in the country, this museum has set up  ‘Innovation Hub’ under the ‘Scheme for Promotion of Culture of Science (SPOCS)’ approved by the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. For effective functioning of the Innovation Hubs, this Museum intends to engage, on contractual basis, Junior Mentors who have a passion for science projects and possess appropriate qualification and experience.  The said engagements shall be made for BITM, Kolkata/Shrikrishna Science Centre, Patna/ Regional Science Centre, Bhubaneswar.
The details of the required qualification and experience, terms of engagement, scope of work and remuneration are given hereunder. Interested persons are requested to send their applications on plain paper along with a detailed resume by post to the following address:

The applications should reach within 13.01.2018. Preliminary screening of applications received within the due date will be done based on the applicants’ resume and final selection will be done through personal interviews of shortlisted candidates. Candidates called for interview will be required to produce all relevant testimonials for verification before the interview.
