Eastern India Science Fair (EISF)
The Eastern India Science Fair (EISF) is an annualinterstate level competitive event that aims to promote creativity & innovation in our youth. It involves school students & guide teachers from the States and Union Territories of Eastern India. They conceive ideas, develop science projects and innovative prototype models using low-cost materials and local resources thataims to provide indigenous and practical technological solutions to society’s basic needs or problems. These students first participate in the District level, then in State level and finally in the Interstate level in Eastern India (EISF). Only the successful students at every level are ticketed to participate in the EISF.As part of the EISF, 4 Work Experience Camps are also organized on various disciplines.
School students up to class XII and the student members of Science Clubs are eligible for participation in EISF, either individually or in-groups of two, with their models and exhibits. Attractive prizes and scholarships are awarded for the winner projects and models.

Major Activities: 1. Interstate Science Exhibition for selected participants from Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Sikkim and West Bengal.
2. Quiz Contest , Meet the Scientists, Science Shows and Educational Tour for the participants.
